The Community Garden
Our Community Garden provides 3ft x 8ft x 2ft ADA accessible raised garden beds to neighborhood residents who come together for a common purpose and camaraderie while growing healthy food. The garden consists of many varieties of tomatoes, cucumbers, peppers, eggplant, squash, melons, lettuce, chives, endive, onions, greens, along with other herbs, spices and flowers. Seasoned gardeners assist those who are new at gardening in learning how to plant and care for their crops. The Community Garden was nominated for the Lorain County Beautiful Award 2010 in the community services category.
Zion CDC appreciates the parnership with the City of Oberlin and looks forward to a bountiful harvest.
