Property Maintenance Program

Home and neighborhood improvements are critical to the community. Not only do they estetically enhance a neighborhood, they also instill a sense of pride and personal ownership in how a neighborhood should function amoung residents. Individuals and families want to be more involved in a neighborhood and community they have a hand in making more beautiful for all residents to live, work, play, study, worship, and raise a family.

Zion CDC's Property Maintenance Program is a collaboration between the city of Oberlin and Zion CDC. We provide the labor and materials to assist local residents with exterior painting, screen repairs, landscaping, power washing, gutter cleaning, leaf raking, and other minor property maintenance repairs. Periodic Neighborhood clean-ups, to include removal of trash, litter, brush, leaves, grass, trees, etc. occure in designated neighborhoods through the cooperation of the City of Oberlin, who agreed to supply a strategically placed dumpster to assist in the removal of unwanted debris.
